The high tides take place at the time of the plain and the new moon, when the moon and the sun are in alignment with the earth. At this time, the water of the sea can withdraw for kilometres (low tide) and rise very quickly and very high on the dike at an incredible speed. It is a spectacle not to be missed, during which the landscape changes in no time!
