L'Aventure en Traineau will teach you how to lead a team of sled dogs in Avoriaz in the heart of the Alps, accompanied by a professional musher!
Number of dogs: 60
Breeds of dog: Huskies, Greenland Eskimo dogs
Number of places per sled: 1 adult and 1 child (maximum 88lbs / 40 kg)
Driver or passenger: you drive the sled yourself, as only children can be passengers
- Meeting with the instructor and the dogs at the L’Aventure en Traîneau base
- Presentation of your sled and team to get to know the dogs (photo opportunity)
- Briefing and quick lesson in sled driving
- Departure for an adventure lasting around 2 hours, with a mix of downhill and uphill runs with the dogs, powder snow and forest
- Return to the base camp, dismantle your equipment and pat the dogs to bring the activity to a gentle close
You need to be in good physical condition to help the dogs during the climb.
