The via cordata of Jardin d'Endieu is located in the Païolive woods. High place of the Ardèche biodiversity, the Païolive wood is known for its strange sculptures of limestone blocks with inimitable shapes. The route of the via cordata of the Jardin d'Endieu takes place in the heights of the gorges and allows to evolve along natural ridges offering breathtaking views on the Chassezac river.
After a five-minute approach walk and a briefing by your state-certified instructor on the equipment and safety rules, try your hand at the via cordata and enjoy the breathtaking scenery! A 40 meter free hanging abseil will bring the course to a beautiful close! Don't forget your bathing suit as a swim is always possible at the end of the activity.

Practical information
- Meeting point on the side of the D452, 07460 Berrias-et-Casteljau.
- Equipment set up by your instructor.
- Approach walk to arrive at the via cordata of 5 minutes.
- Briefing by your instructor on the activity, the equipment and the safety rules.
- Succession of hikes, climbs and overcoming of different obstacles including a monkey bridge and a 40 meter abseil.
- Swimming in the Chassezac river.
- Walk back to the meeting point of 15 minutes.
It is imperative to be in good physical condition to do this activity.
