The experienced guide will welcome you and drive you to Pyhä-Luosto National Park, one of Finland's oldest and most beautiful national parks. Upon arrival, you'll board a comfortable snow train called Amethyst Pendolino and set off on a 1.5-hour ride to Lampivaara.

Throughout the snow train ride in Pyhä-Luosto, you'll enjoy views of the stunning natural landscapes while learning about the history of the 200 million-year-old amethyst mine. Then, you'll arrive at the fascinating Lampivaara Amethyst Mine, situated at the top of Pyhä-Luosto National Park. You'll embark on a guided tour of Lampivaara, where you'll even get the opportunity to dig your own amethyst gemstones using the tools provided. If you find a stone that fits into the palm of your hand, you get to keep it! (Only one stone per person).

After visiting Lampivaara Amethyst Mine, you'll head to a cosy wooden hut and learn more about the amethyst gemstone.
