Rovaniemi is the capital city of the magical Lapland region, situated in the north of Finland. This city is located close to the Arctic Circle, and experiences snowy conditions during the winter months. Rovaniemi is also known as the official home of Santa Claus! This family excursion is a fun way to experience the Arctic North and meet the man himself.

For this trip, you can be picked up from your accommodation in Rovaniemi or meet at the starting point (please specify when booking). After meeting your guide, you'll be given a safety briefing along with basic snowmobile driving techniques. In addition, they will share information regarding the best activities to do when visiting the Arctic Circle. Each snowmobile will be shared between two, with one driver and one passenger and the chance to switch midway, and children will sit in a sled pulled by the guide's snowmobile. Once you've geared up and put your helmet on, the adventure begins!

You'll set out into the wilderness for an hour-long drive to Santa's Village. As you drive across the snowy terrain in the winter wonderland, you will pass magnificent sights in the beautiful nature. The backcountry of Rovaniemi features diverse landscapes, such as forests, lakes and rivers.

Soon you will arrive at Santa's Village! The village is situated right on the Arctic Circle, and you can cross over the marked line to denote its location. The village features many exciting activities for you to explore, such as shops and boutiques selling Christmas merchandise, a beautiful park where you can meet reindeer, and the official Post Office where you can send letters home with an Arctic Circle stamp. The main attraction is of course Santa's Office, where visitors can meet Santa Claus himself year-round! After meeting Santa and taking some photos, you will return to your pick-up point in Rovaniemi.
