Experience the thrill of both snowmobiling and dog sledding in Lapland's winter wonderland, Rovaniemi!
This unique activity combines the thrill of snowmobiling with the speed of a husky dog sledding team! This family-friendly activity is the perfect way to experience Finland's beautiful frozen landscape!
After being shuttled to the snowmobile departure point, your guide will give you a safety briefing and introduction to snowmobiling. Arctic Lifestyle only uses snowmobiles that are locally produced, easy to drive, and environmentally friendly.
With your winter/snowmobile gear on, the adventure begins! You'll snowmobile through the winter landscape, admiring the stunning views. In addition, the group will stop at scenic spots for some amazing photo opportunities.
After arriving at the husky farm, the dogs will be waiting to take you for a speedy 5 km (3 miles) ride in their sleds. Each dog sled accommodates one passenger and one driver, or "musher". For those who want to try dog sled driving, you'll have a chance to switch places with your guide! Once the dog sled ride is over, you will have time to get familiar with the dogs and hear about their daily lives.
This activity is ideal for anyone who wants to make the most of their stay in Finland and enjoy the outdoors!
