Daredevils and adrenaline enthusiasts welcome - canyoning on the Cetina River from Split is a thrilling experience not to be missed! On this excursion, you'll hike and swim in the Cetina canyon, with waters ranging from 15 to 19 degrees depending on the season. You will also abseil down the cliffs using alpine ropes.
Your canyoning on the Cetina River begins after meeting your certified instructor at the meeting point, where you'll depart for Zadvarje Village. Once you've arrived, you'll put on your gear, which includes a neoprene suit, helmet, and life jacket. Your knowledgeable guide will provide a safety briefing, after which, the real fun begins!
After you've entered the Cetina Canyon, you'll traverse the rapids of the Cetina River, swim in the crystal-clear waters of lakes, and be amazed by the Gubavica waterfall, measuring 50 meters (164 feet). Your first abseil will take place near the waterfall, where you'll be lowered by your guide at a height of 53 meters (174 feet). The second abseil takes place in close proximity to the Mala Gubavica waterfall at a height of 18 meters (59 feet).

All customers must wear life jackets and helmets at all times while in the river.
All of our professional guides are members of the Irish Canoe Union and Croatian Mountain Rescue.
Professional canyoning shoes are available to rent at an additional fee.
Split Adventure reserves the right to cancel the activity should the weather conditions not be suitable or considered dangerous. In case of unfavourable weather conditions, you will be notified at the very least the evening before the activity.
