You don't need to be a seasoned snorkeller, this tour will prepare you for the basics of snorkelling so that you can explore the sea filled with various types of fish, sea cucumbers, anemones, starfish, sea snails, and crabs. Organized in small groups of 8 people maximum, this snorkelling tour will leave you in awe.
Starting at Valovine Beach, a peaceful location which is one of the best beaches in Pula, you will immediately feel the call of the sea. After leaving behind Seagull’s Rocks Beach and the historical port, you will have an extensive safety briefing where you will get acquainted with all the equipment and how to use it properly. As you take your first steps into deeper waters, simply let the sea relax you while listening to the gentle sounds of the waves.
Your snorkelling guide will ensure that you leave with long-lasting memories as they will take photos of you while you continue to explore and enjoy this unique location.

To complete the tour, you will make your way back to Seagull’s Rocks Beach. As you arrive at the shore, you will have some time to share the experience with the guide and each other. This is the perfect daytime adventure to get to know Pula's marine life.

Practical information

Course of events
  • Welcome & Boarding
    Meet your guide at Valovine Beach, at Pula Outdoor KAYAK & SUP beach rental centre.
    Safety briefing and introduction to the snorkeling excursion.
    Put on your ABC equipment (masks, snorkels, and fins), and learn how to snorkel comfortably, safely, and responsibly in shallow water.
  • Exploration Time
    Head out from Seagull’s Rocks Beach, just 50 meters from the historical Austro-Hungarian Fort.
    Swim and snorkel in the calm waters, becoming familiar with your equipment while exploring the underwater world.
    Your guide will take underwater photos while you continue to explore.
  • Return to Seagull’s Rocks Beach
    Head back to shore to share the experience with your guide and fellow snorkelers.
Activity requirements

All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity.

A minimum number of 2 participants is required to run this activity.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the tour begins so you can find a parking spot in the area and dress for the activity.

This activity is not suitable for people with vertigo, heavy asthma and similar health issues.

Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Special terms

This activity is suitable for the ages 8 to 70.
