Exploration Diving in Ajaccio

If you have a minimum Level 1 diving certification, you can take part in these exploration diving trips in Ajaccio, which will enable you to discover a rich and sublime underwater fauna and flora. Departing from Trottel beach, you'll set off with or without a dive guide (Level 2 required) to dive in the Gulf of Ajaccio or the surrounding area, on a dive site chosen according to your level, the weather conditions and your wishes, so that you get the most out of your experience. These sites include, among others:

La Tête de mort - dives generally between 20 and 30 metres deep, main drop off and rocky plateau where you can meet groupers, tuna and barracudas;

Les Sette Nave - dive to the main plateau at a depth of 10 metres with drop-offs and caves where you can meet octopus, starfish, schools of mullet, sea urchins and many other species;

La Vallée des Mérous - Level 2 minimum dive to a depth of 50 metres where there are many groupers;

La Campanina - diving either at the marker with magnificent drop-offs to a depth of 40 metres (Level 1 or above), a site full of fish; or at the cave (Level 3 only), where the entrance is 50 metres deep and will give you some great thrills;

The Tabernacle - diving at depths of between 3 and 25 metres off the Sanguinaires Islands, in calm waters where you can see moray eels, conger eels and barracudas.
