You will start your tandem skydiving experience over the Maspalomas dunes with a flight from El Berriel Aerodrome in Gran Canaria. You'll need to arrive there 5 to 10 minutes before your flight so you can get all geared up with a helmet, harness, goggles, and whatever else your instructor deems necessary, as well as get a thorough safety briefing so you can be safe throughout the experience. Then, it will be time to fly!

You'll get to prepare for your tandem skydiving experience over the Maspalomas dunes with a panoramic flight over Gran Canaria. Once the pilot reaches an altitude of approximately 3000 meters, you and your instructor will jump out of the plane, and you will experience a breathtaking 30 to 40-second freefall at over 200 km/h over the dunes! Then, as you deploy your parachute, you'll get to enjoy a relaxing and slowed-down fall over Playa del Inglés for about 8 minutes, until you land safely in the heart of the Maspalomas dunes for the end of your skydiving experience.

During the freefall and parachute flight on your tandem skydiving experience over the Maspalomas dunes, you will have the opportunity to enjoy breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, the island of Gran Canaria, and the other Canary Islands, as well as its mountains, beaches, and especially the dunes of Maspalomas, all sights to see. Your family and friends will also be able to record your arrival at the Maspalomas dune, which will be a nice souvenir of your skydiving experience!

Practical information

Enjoy an incredible 70-minute tandem skydiving experience from 3000 meters over the Maspalomas dune and the Playa del inglés in Gran Canaria!

Course of events

- Arrival at meeting point and introduction to the instructors

- Safety and activity briefing

- Equipment preparation with harnesses, goggles, and helmets

- Start of the plane flight.

- Once the pilot reaches an altitude of approximately 3000 meters, you and your tandem instructor will jump out of the plane and freefall for 30 to 40 seconds over the famous Maspalomas Dunes at over 200 km/h

- The freefall is followed by a relaxing parachute flight, soaring through the sky for 5-8 minutes

- Landing at the Maspalomas Dunes

- Equipment return and activity debriefing

Activity requirements

The maximum weight for this activity is 105kg. Persons weighing between 90kg and 105kg must pay an additional charge of 50€.

Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity without an accompanying adult.
