Let yourself be tempted by agrotourism in Quebec by taking part in a wine and cider discovery and tasting tour in the Outaouais region from Ottawa-Gatineau!
If you are a wine or cider lover, be sure to sample some of these beverages during your stay in Quebec in the Outaouais, a region known throughout Canada for its exceptional products! Departing from Ottawa-Gatineau, you can choose between 2 different tours, one in Pontiac and the other in Petite-Nation, to give you a great tasting and olfactory experience as you discover the wines and ciders of the Outaouais.
The Pontiac Wine and Cider Route will allow you to sample up to 11 of these beverages as you visit Coronation Hall, a cider house in Bristol, and 2 vineyards, Petit Chariot Rouge in Shawville and Les Collines in Pontiac. You will go behind the scenes of wine production alongside wine enthusiasts who will offer you tastings accompanied by cheese, charcuterie and homemade apple treats!
The Petite-Nation Wine and Cider Route will offer you a minimum of 15 tastings over 4 visits: Croque-Pomme, the region's institutional orchard founded in 1994; 2 renowned Outaouais estates, Mont-Vézeau offering an extraordinary variety of wines, and L'Heure Juste, a small family winery where you can discover the difficulties involved in taking over an existing winery; and finally a farm, Brylee Farm, where delicious snacks await you.
With a small group of no more than 14 participants, transported in a comfortable minibus and led by an enthusiastic guide, your Outaouais wine and cider tasting and discovery outing from Ottawa-Gatineau will leave you with wonderful memories to share with your friends and family!
