Under a starry sky, lit by the moon and your headlamp, you'll enjoy a unique sled dog activity near Montreal!
Once at the kennels, your guide will introduce you to the pack and give you a training session on how to drive and prepare your sled. Equipped with warm clothing and a headlamp, you'll be ready to follow the guide and explore the magnificent snow-covered forest trails at night with true canine athletes! You'll set off at sunset to admire the natural spectacle of the changing colours of the sky as night falls. After your dog sledding excursion near Montreal, you'll enjoy a special moment of play with the dogs and puppies over a hot drink!
During your night dog sledding excursion, you'll be able to enjoy the sky, free from light or atmospheric pollution, and observe the twinkling stars and the moon. On this magical experience lasting between 1.5 and 2 hours you'll discover the Canadian plains and forests as you've never seen them before. The extensive, well-maintained trails make the excursion accessible to anyone in good physical condition.

Practical information
Take off on a 1.5 to 2-hour dog sled ride at night near Montreal and enjoy an unusual winter activity in Saint-Liguori!
- 2 people per sleigh: 1 driver + 1 passenger.
- Meet the team in the reception area, where you can dress warmly in the cold-weather gear available (free of charge).
- Briefing on the tour and safety instructions, with theoretical and practical training in driving the sled.
- If you wish, you can take part in harnessing the dogs alongside the guides.
- Departure for a 1.5 to 2 hour dog sled ride with the possibility of taking turns driving (there will be 2 of you per sled).
- Return to base and unhitch the dogs
- Special time with the dogs at the kennels
- A snack and a hot drink will be served to warm you up and bring the activity to a close
Maximum weight per person: 100 kg (220 lbs).
The activity requires a good sense of balance, good reflexes and a high level of attention, as you will be following the guide's carriage.
There will be 2 people per sled: at least 1 person must be able to drive the sled pulled by 5 to 6 dogs.
Not recommended for people with back and/or knee problems.
If possible during the activity, a member of the team will take photos on the trails and share them with you via AirDrop or equivalent.
* Cold-weather winter clothing: snow trousers, very warm coat, winter boots, mittens, hat (you'll need warmer clothes than if you were skiing, as this is a more static sport).
If required, you can add to your equipment free of charge (boots, snow trousers and mittens).
