3-hour cetacean-watching activity in São Jorge in the Azores. Please allow around 3.5 to 4hrs on site.
- Arrive at the designated meeting point.
- Registration and distribution of safety equipment (lifejackets).
- Briefing by the guide, covering safety instructions, the code of conduct for wildlife observation, the planned observation of marine species, the itinerary and duration of the excursion.
- Boarding and departure from the marina.
- Whale and dolphin watching.
- Once the sighting has been made, the boat approaches cautiously, following the guidelines of responsible wildlife observation.
- You observe, take photos and ask questions while the guide gives you directions.
- Depending on the excursion, several stops can be made to observe different species.
- A gradual return to the marina to enjoy the ocean views.
- Return of the lifejackets and end of the activity.
