This spot, also near Westendorf, is famous for its ideal paragliding conditions and of course, an absolutely stunning mountainous landscape!

At your paragliding take-off area on Hohe Salve, your guide will go over safety instructions, what to expect out of your flight, and how your equipment works. Your pilot will help you with your helmet and harness, do a final equipment check, and then it is time for take-off! In the air, gliding at approximately 40 km/h and sitting comfortably in your harness, you will have lovely views of the villages of Kufstein and Kitzbühel below and the majestic snow-capped peaks of the Alps surrounding you.

For an even more adrenaline pumping flight, if you want to transition from a gentle glide to thrilling twists and spirals, just let your guide know! To finish off your paragliding flight above Hohe Salve, landing will be easy with just a few steps on the ground. Elevation gain: 1100m

Airtime: 12-17 minutes

Total time needed: approx. 1 hour

Thermal flight (vertical rise)

Takeoff: 1800m

Elevation gain: 1100m+

Airtime: at least 30 minutes (optional: +50€ every extra 30 mins)

Total time needed: dependent on flight time
