Wind Adventures has been operating in St Martin since 1992. Originally created as a windsurfing centre (Club Nathalie Simon), in 1998 Wind Adventures became the Kitesurfing specialist on the island of St Martin. Wind Adventures also developed Hobie cat safaris and last year they launched Eco tours to help you discover the natural environment.
Wind Adventures will also assist you in finding accommodation, cars rentals and even the cheapeast flights. They also organise airport tranfers.
Quality of service
Wind Adventures is a French kitesurfing school (number 99907) and a IKO centre (155). They have an exceptional emphasis on safety, certification and top quality instruction and teaching methods.
They are located at the best kite spot on the Orient beach, on the windward side, where the wind is the most consistant (kiteboarding requires laminar winds and should not be disturbed by the mountains, this makes a big difference when learning). The water is crystal clear and you will love the temperature!
They have a shallow lagoon for the first lesson (kite control) and a protected bay to learn in deep water. They never leave the bay where the swell is bigger. They are located in a Marine Park where the lucky ones amongst you might see sea turtles or even dolphins in wintertime!
The team
CECILE will welcome you and take care of you during your stay. She deals with all your accommodation bookings, airport transfers, car rentals and any other special requirements. Cecile is also a windsurfing specialist and sport catamaran champion.
ANTOINE is from La Rochelle, France, which happens to be one of the most trendiest place when it comes to sailing. Antoine chose Saint Martin so he could enjoy the winds and warm waters and teach windsurfing and hobie cat, as well as sail boats all year round. With solid teaching skills, not only is Antoine able to teach an 8 year old how to tack on a boat, but he can also teach waterstarts to the most passionated and experienced windsurfer. Antoine knows exactly what techniques to use to help you progress. He admits wholeheartedly that the marine park is and where to spot the lovely turtles, and always keeps a smile on his face..
