VIVA let's fly!

We are a married couple, always looking for something new and unique in different areas. We’ve been working in tourism for many years and in 2017 we’ve decided to start the yachting business. It was very important for us to know everything about yachting, that’s why at first we learned how to go yachting, got the skipper’s licenses and after this all we bought our first sail catamaran.

A couple of years later our sailing agency became one of the most successful in Crete. And of course, one sail catamaran was not enough for us.

We thought «Yachts are in the sea, but how about the sky?» and decided to develop in this area. For 5 years we’ve been planning to organise balloon flights on Crete, consulting with professionals, arranging documents, and of course, we’ve been searching for a pilot school, where we could learn how to pilot the hot air balloon and get the license.

We live in Greece and here no one knew anything about this kind of leisure. Luckily we’ve met a great person and professional with 30 years of experience in piloting. He helped us to find a European school, where we learned how to pilot the balloon, got the necessary experience by practicing and got the license.

By the way, we are Sergey and Karina, we know Greece very well, especially the island of Crete, we enjoy balloon flights. We love it so much, so we decided to call our agency «VIVA let’s fly» after our third daughter Viviana. After she was born we decided to organise balloon flights not only for ourselves, but to give this great opportunity to each and everyone who would like to enjoy it.

Our great experience in tourism helps us understand what people might need during their vacation. We organise our flights according to all safety standards. Also, we thought of every single detail: transfer, stuff, extra service and some presents for our clients.
