Ardèche Balades invites you to discover the exceptional landscapes of the Ardèche through hikes accompanied by a passionate and qualified instructor!

Mathieu Golin, guide of Ardèche Balades, spent his childhood in the countryside with his father, a hiking guide: hiking was the family's favorite pastime! Thus, in 1987, Mathieu did his first 10 km hike for the hiking festival, then in 1993, after several weekends of walking, he did his first 8 days trek, first in the Vosges and then in the Cantal, and then the Pyrenees in 3 years, and finally the Alps.

All these excursions allowed him to acquire the necessary knowledge to supervise hikes. In 2008, he deepened his knowledge of the environment and obtained his state certification as a mid-mountain guide. Wishing more than ever to live from his passion and to make discover his region during hikes, he launched his activity in 2011 by creating the company Ardèche Balades.
