Téléski Barcarès

It's already been 45 years since the cable ski at Port Barcarès was installed in 1971 on the lake at Leucate. This was introduced in order to offer exciting new watersports to holidaymakers.

Ideally situated just a few metres away from the Mediterranean Sea and right in the heart of the triangle formed by Montpellier, Toulouse and Barcelona, the unique setting is a great way to experience fantastic watersports, including water-skiing, the kneeboarding and most exciting of all, the wakeboarding!

Cable Ski Activities:
11 riders or skiers can use the cable ski simultaneously on the lake, towed by a cable on a closed 900 metre circuit. Whether you are a beginner here for the day, or an experienced rider, you will adore this unusual sporting opportunity.

In any case of a fall, there are lifeboats on-hand at all times and one will pick you up - your safety is the number 1 priority.

Téléski Barcarès is a family company run by brother and sister, Mathieu and Clarisse. The company was actually created by their father who was a huge water sports enthusiast.

Mathieu and Clarisse are passionate about cable skiing, they obtained their diplomas 10 years ago and have been practicing the various sports for over 20 years.

Every member of the team wants to help you reach your cable skiing goals, they are patient and encouraging and use their vast experience to make sure you have fun safely.

All sessions can be conducted in French, English, German and Spanish!
