Visit the islands of Société Duvetnor in the Lower St. Lawrence from the marina at Rivière-du-Loup in Quebec!
Founded in 1979, Société Duvetnor Ltée is a private, not-for-profit corporation that bought some islands in the St. Lawrence River in order to protect them: Les Pèlerins, 2 of the 3 Pot à l'Eau-de-Vie islands and Île-aux-Lièvres. In 1989, the company decided to open some of these islands to the public in order to raise awareness of the need to protect their environment and to allow everyone to admire their richness. It was awarded Biosphere certification in 2023, proof of the ecological care it has taken to allow the islands' flora and fauna to flourish!
