A company rooted in conservation and eco-conscious tourism, Offshore Adventures represents the benchmark for sustainable marine excursions on the iconic Plettenberg Bay, South Africa.

Renowned for their fur seal swimming trips, Offshore Adventures has spent the last 10-years exploring the Robberg Nature Reserve - protecting the coast's resident African Fur Seal population and working in partnership with Tenikwa wildlife awareness and rehabilitation centre to help rehabilitate lost/injured pups. An amazing interactive experience that allows groups to get in the water with these playful mammals, their curious nature and cheeky characters make it a must-do when visiting Plettenberg or the Garden Route.

Another important aspect of the company's wildlife philosophy is based on re-education - proving to curious nomads that the region's notorious shark population are an important aspect of the coast's biodiversity, and not half as dangerous as their reputation implies! In fact, Offshore Adventures has been awarded the WESSA Blue Flag status for the third consecutive year. Dedicated to supporting marine and conservation-related research in the area, especially Robberg Nature Reserve and Marine Protected area.

Robberg Peninsula supports a diverse array of plants and animals that have adapted to this land/sea ecology. Extending 1.8km offshore, the nature reserve that extends from Plettenberg provides protection to a range of vulnerable fish species and marine mammals - making it the ideal day trip for snorkeling, swimming, and freediving with unique sea life. Southern right whales can also be observed from the reserve during the breeding and calving months from June to November. 

Priding themselves on their excellent safety record and environmental code of conduct, Offshore Adventures offers groups the incredible opportunity to interact with seals, inquisitive Blue and Mako sharks and incredible of sardines in season!
