Born and raised in Wels, Martin has spent many years by Lake Attersee and has been hiking around the area since he was a child. Martin discovered snowshoeing in 2008 and obtained his certificate as a hiking and snowshoeing guide in 2020. 
His motto is "You shall be happy at the end of the road!" and surely you will be happy at the end of the day, having been hiking around beautiful mountains and lakes, all the while learning about the local culture and people who inhabit the Salzkammergut region.
