In 1998, a certain "Loulou" had taken the habit of inviting his friends in a hut at the edge of the water to share his passion of the river with them: it is in these same places that was born the Vernede. Since then, the son has taken over with a team all equally motivated to share their passion for water through canoeing and kayaking.

La Vernede welcomes you every day of the season from 8 am and applies to a quality service for the organization of your activities. The instructors will help you discover the Gorges de l'Ardèche by canoe or kayak, alone with nature, with family or with friends.

In addition to white water sports, La Vernede offers caving to discover the mysterious underground passages of the Ardèche Gorges, but also abseiling down 180 meters high on a "spider's thread" (without touching the wall) for the more experienced. And for those who want to discover magical sites and natural scenery, you can embark on a canyon adventure.

Your peace of mind is paramount, and that is why La Vernede does everything possible to ensure your safety by briefing you on the instructions before each activity. The equipment at your disposal is checked every year, and the vests are washed every day.

Once the activity is over, don't hesitate to use the showers available and enjoy a moment of conviviality on the base, on the terrace, around a free refreshment. Leaving with a smile on your face is what makes La Vernede proud!
