Small team of experienced & knowledgeable adventure guides based in and around the Vatnajökull National Park region in Southern Iceland, Ice Guardians is specialised in glacier hiking, ice climbing, bespoke day and multi-day hikes as well as operating Iceland's only true canyoning tours. The team loves to explore glaciers and to teach about the surrounding nature and landscapes in order to gain a quality experience in a unique part of the world, where ice meets fire.
These guys were top notch. They are the ones who created the experience with the regional forestry service, so a big respect for nature, navigating through the sheep trails to get to canyon and a well thought out course with anchors and challenges along the way. They were both highly qualified at rope at rigging systems, so you never had to worry about your safety. High glass all the way and they were both very friendly and had a ton of information about the area and the land.
