Hotel Aak

Hotel Aak is The Adventure Hotel of The Fjords, situated in Romsdalen - the mountain capital of Norway. It was the first tourist hotel in the Norwegian countryside when established back in 1860.

Today Kristine and Odd Erik Rønning run the resort, and work hard to preserve the historic character and recreate the atmosphere of the 19th-century hotel within a modern framework. Parts of the hotel was recently renovated and the interior is Scandinavian style, but still with a nod to the past. At Hotel Aak, we believe in three primary needs to give you an unforgettable stay: flawless food, good beds and outdoor adventures.
