HALIOTIS Santa Maria

Haliotis have many diving centres based all over Portugal, they have centres in Peniche, Sesimbra, Santa Maria, Madeira and Faial (Azores). They pride themselves on always focusing on the quality of the services provided. Haliotis is an internationally renowned company in the diving world.

Santa Maria
Santa Maria is a part of the Oriental Group of the Azores Islands, together with São Miguel, which is located 81 km away. The outstanding condition of the Azores, combined with the climate, and oceanic currents creates an excellent environment for scuba diving. The Haliotis Santa Maria diving centre is the biggest diving school locally. Around Santa Maria there are (approx.) 55 diving spots with caves, canyons, walls, reefs and rare exotic oceanic species.

All the lessons, courses and excursions can be conducted in English, French, Spanish and of course Portuguese. 

Haliotis have been members of the PADI association since 28th October, 2004 
PADI: Professional Association of Diving Instructors® PADI is the world’s leading scuba diver training organisation.

All members of the team have different levels of PADI certifications.
