The guide was knowledgeable but not patient with me, someone who had never done it before. As this was a beginner's tour, I expected some intro or guidance, but I received little. The route was only communicated as we were going. The guide should have seen me struggling and kept an eye on me and my safety, but instead he went faster than I could and I lost sight of him at a few dangerous situations. Had I known what I was getting myself into, I would have planned differently or elected not go, but since there was no communication I unwisely put my faith in the guide.
