Guillaume Mottet is a climbing instructor in the Calanques National Park. From Marseille to Cassis, he offers a range of climbing tours for beginners and experts looking to test their limits in one of France’s most beautiful regions.

Passionate about climbing since a young age, Guillaume mastered is art in and around the many cliffs and boulders that cover southwest France.

He first started excelling as a climber in gorges of Aveyron and went on to conquer renowned ascents in the Calanques National Park. In his own words: "The beauty of the landscapes, the sun, the sea, and the endless number of climbing routes seduced me!". Since then he has made the region his professional home, offering a range of first-class climbs for all levels.

The variety of routes he offers represent his passion and knowledge of the region, offering a unique glimpse of this beautiful part of France.

An exceptional location
The Calanques National Park covers a 25km stretch along France’s southwest coast in Provence, facing the Mediterranean sea between Marseille, Cassis and La Ciotat. This little piece of paradise is made for climbing, with a wide range of routes cutting through steep, limestone rocks. A mild year-round climate means the views are rarely spoilt from cliffs and peaks to coastlines and coves, making it a perfect place for discovery and exploration.
