Canoescapade is located in Southern Aveyron near Millau, and offers canoe-kayaking and rafting and even whitewater swimming between Grand Causses & Raspes du Tarn.
The professional team of Canoescapade:
- Pierre Gérand, the manager, is a mountain guide, a naturalist guide (BTS geston and protecton of nature), and has the BPJEPS canoeing and associated disciplines, as well as the BPJEPS hiking (on foot and by bike),
- Loïc Laborie is has the BPJEPS canoe-kayak.
Passionate about nature, adventure and travel, Pierre is an environmental educator for children in winter and canoe instructor in summer. At the sports level, he roams on foot, by bike or canoe, it is the long-term immersion in nature that attracts him and helps him to recharge his batteries. He loves campfires and good food and that's what he shares with his clients during the bivouacs.
The asset of Canoescapade is the guidance, which means a playful approach of the practice, the knowledge of the territory and the capacity to popularize contributions on the environment and the heritage.
Pierre is an excellent guide and taught us so many new things. I won't share or it will spoil the surprise! You definitely need to do this as a guided canoeing trip otherwise it is quite difficult . Pierre is fab!
