Accrokite

Accrokite was created and is run by Vincent Prigent, an IKO level 2 instructor passionate about board and water sports.

With over 20 years of teaching experience in water sports, Vincent decided to put his pedagogical skills to good by teaching other kiting enthusiasts.

The school is very proud of the fact that they are the only IKO affiliated school in the whole of France, guaranteeing you top quality pedagogy, instructors and equipment.

After scoping out the various coasts of France, they eventually decided on the Bay of Bonne Anse in La Palmyre, 12 km from Royan and an hour from La Rochelle and Bordeaux.

The learning zone is a groomed area that is exclusively reserved for kitesurfing, enabling you to learn how to navigate your sail without worrying about other holidaymakers. It is located in a closed bay that is protected from the waves of the wild coast.

The area has many sandbanks, which means you’ll always be able to touch the seabed during your lessons, making learning that much easier. The wind is between 8 – 20 knots throughout summer, ideal for kitesurfing novices who want to start off slowly

The kitesurfing equipment is renewed every year at the beginning of the season, allowing you to benefit from the latest technological evolution and practice safely.

The school uses AIRUSH 100% de-power system that is checked over after every lesson. The boards are chosen based on your height and weight.
