Chango Diving I would recommend this for a family. If you have been snorkeling in other parts of the world you might not be too impressed. There aren't alot of colorful fish. The snorkeling guide was excellent. She showed us around the snorkeling area and let the kids hold a Black sea urchin. That was so cool especially since it was my daughter's first time.

It’s a weird experience. I’m not complaining because we turned out to spend time with fun, but definitely things could go worse. The whole snorkeling activity is supposed to last 3 hours, 1 hour took waiting for everyone to get around and instructors to get ready and prepare the boats. Then when we arrived at the spot, the instructor told us that we will swim there for 25 minutes and then another instructor will show up and take us to the next spot and maybe even tell us something about different types of fish. Then she left. That was weird, that instructor totally left 8 people out there. What if anything would go wrong? Wasn’t she supposed to supervise us? Well, we were taking turns to get back to boat thinking that we will be picked up soon, but the boat was shaking on the waves so much that we had to get back to swimming, because sitting inside you could get too dizzy. That’s how we were swimming for like 1 hour 40 minutes, until instructor suddenly showed up and took us back to the port without saying anything. It was obvious by her costume that she was acting as diving instructor for some other group while we were snorkeling. Weird, but what to do. In the end of the day 35 euro for snorkeling is not expensive and we swam a lot.

Quite confusing before "take-off" - no information on what was next when getting the gear etc. But excellent for the actual dive - thorough instruction, and an experienced instructor who was able to deal fantastically with spurs of panic, ensuring that we both ended up feeling fully comfortable. Very clear what to do at all times underwater.
