Join in on a round trip through Lauterbrunnen, Wengen, Kleine Scheidegg and Grindelwald to discover Jungfraujoch, the Top of Europe!
Between a UNESCO World Heritage site, the world's highest railway station and panoramic views towards France, Italy and Germany, this is not going to be your average train trip.
An enthusiastic, local guide will take you to the best places around the area. You will start the day with a short train ride through the Valley of Lauterbrunnen where you will immediately feel relaxed between the high mountains, breathing in the fresh air. The immensity of the landscapes will leave you amazed as you take a walk around the bright green or snow-covered slopes.
As you continue on your tour, you will be able to admire the pioneering work of the mountain railways. Built in 1912, the Jungfrau Railway has been taking people through the Eiger and Mönch mountains. It is a true engineering marvel, to be able to pass through the heart of the mountains in modern and comfortable trains. Upon arriving in Jungfraujoch, you will explore the exhibition and the ice cave, full of sculptures.
After having visited the historic Jungfrau Railway, you will be able to admire Europe's largest glacier while having your lunch at 3,454 meters above sea level. The day will continue with a train ride to Eigergletscher for a walk around the glacier. Last but not least, you will take a ride in the new cable car -the most modern of its kind in the world- to Grindelwald.
A train ride back to Interlaken will close this day full of excitement.
