Once you arrive at the meeting point, your pilot will make sure you are wearing warm clothes and footwear. If you're not, they will provide you with suitable shoes and gloves. Once you're all ready, your instructor will drive you to the launching point, which is located in Beatenberg, 20 minutes from Interlaken. On the way up they will brief you about taking off and landing safely. As soon as you reach the launching point on the mountain, your experienced pilot will get the equipment ready and will help you get geared up in a helmet and harness. Then you're off to this amazing tandem paragliding flight in Interlaken! After a 10-20 minute flight (depending on winds and thermals) you'll land in the center of Interlaken.

Try this incredible tandem paragliding flight over Interlaken and discover the magic of winter from the sky!

  • Altitude: 800m (2625ft) from Interlaken to Beatenberg (1350m or 4429ft from sea level)
Course of events

Please allow 1h15 in total for this activity, including 10 to 20 minutes of flying.

  • Meet your certified instructor at the meeting point
  • Drive to the take off point in Beatenberg
  • During this 20-minute drive you will receive the "safety-talk" and a briefing on the take-off and landing process.
  • 3 minute walk to the take-off site whith a majestic view over the Interlaken region and Jungfrau mountain

Activity requirements

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Minimum weight: 30kg / 66lbs
  • Maximum weight: 100kg / 220lbs

Please note that you must not weigh more than 80 kgs (176lbs) for the following flight times:

Special terms

Please note that it's possible to buy photos and video for an extra fee of CHF 40 on-site. You can also bring your own camera if it is a small digital camera or a GoPro.

This activity is extremely weather-dependent. If the weather does not allow for the activity to take place, we will contact you to reschedule or receive a full refund.

Luggage can be deposited at the Desk of the Paragliding Office. You can pick it up after the flight.

There are many fee-based parking lots in the close environment of the meeting point on the high route.

There are female pilots too on certain days.
