The Dimitile is a mountainous summit culminating at 1 850 m of altitude, in the north of the commune of Entre-Deux. It is located at the border of the Cirque de Cilaos on which it offers a superb panorama from its belvedere, an obligatory passage during your 4 hours quad ride! The ascent of Dimitile, a site accessible only by all-terrain vehicle, will allow you to discover the reconstitution of an ancient maroon camp, an important part of the history of Reunion Island.

Practical information

Course of events

- Meeting with the agent on the parking lot next to the Tourist Office of Entre-Deux, administrative part (rental documents, deposit, etc.)

- Briefing on the safety rules and attitudes to adopt when using the quad

- Departure for 4 hours of quad biking on a route given by the agent on the site of Dimitile

- Return to the starting point before 7 pm

Activity requirements

To have a driving license B or B1 (car), OR a license A1, A2, A3 or A (two-wheeled) obtained before 2013 for driving the quad.

Minimum driver age : 21 years old

Minimum passenger height : 1m40

Special terms

A deposit per rented quad (banking card or cash) will be requested in the name(s) and surname(s) of the driver: 750€ by cheque or cash.

The passenger helmet is not included in the price (10€ to be paid extra on site if you do not have your own helmet).

Once the reservation has been confirmed, here are the steps for organizing the delivery:

  • You will receive an email from the instructor with the appointment time and the various information you need to know for the activity.
  • If everything is OK with you, please reply to the e-mail with “Bon pour accord”.
  • If you have any questions or need to reschedule, please reply to the e-mail or text the number given in your Manawa confirmation e-mail.
